This residual Ozone Test Kit uses DPD Colourimetric method to measure dissolved Ozone levels in water upto 1.0 ppm.

The Kit includes a Colour Comparator with Least Count of 0.1 ppm and DPD tablets enough for testing 50 water samples.

In Swimming Pool water treatment, Ozone is normally introduced in the water circulation system and then removed prior to re-entry of water in the pool. In other water treatment systems, Ozone residual is maintained in water. In all these cases, accurate measurement of residual Ozone is essential to ensure required residual or effective removal.

The DPD method provides a simple means of measuring Ozone residual up to a level of 1.0 ppm. Other disinfectants such as Chlorine are frequently used in conjunction with Ozone. Supplementary procedures are, therefore, provided for separate determination of these residuals.

Ozone in water has to be measured on site itself, due to its very short residual time. This Kit provides a simple and convenient tool to quickly check Ozone level in water.
